Drawing upon his international experience in various rural and clinical settings across Australia, New Zealand, the United States of America, South America, and Scandinavia, JT brings a global perspective to his practice. He has undergone extensive clinical training, holding a Master of Social Work, Bachelor of Social Work, and an Associate of Science. JT is also a registered Social Worker in New Zealand and has completed the supervision requirements for the Clinical Social Workers License Board of Georgia, USA. Additionally, he has served in the United States Marine Corps and received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for his exceptional community service.
With a special interest in trauma-based interventions and treatment strategies, including modified cognitive-behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy, narrative therapy, and Indigenous/First Nations approaches, JT is equipped to assist individuals affected by psychological trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment difficulties, grief, loss, and bereavement.
